1. Description of Service

Kashiko is a personal expense tracking application. The App allows you to manually record your expenses — including merchant name, amount, category, date, and notes — and review your spending history. Kashiko Plus subscribers also have access to an insights dashboard with spending charts and trend analysis.

Kashiko is a personal organizational tool, nothing more. We do not connect to your bank accounts, process payments on your behalf, manage investments, or file taxes.

2. Account Registration and Security

To use Kashiko, you must create an account by providing your full name, a valid email address, and a password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with anyone
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Kashiko offers a free tier with basic expense tracking and a premium tier (Kashiko Plus) with additional features including insights, charts, and spending trends.

By subscribing to Kashiko Plus, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device
• Free trials, when offered, provide temporary access to premium features. If you purchase a subscription before the trial ends, the unused portion of the trial will be forfeited
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policies

All transactions are processed by Apple through its In-App Purchase system. This App is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), except where these Terms provide additional terms.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Kashiko, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful, personal expense tracking purposes
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Not use automated scripts, bots, or similar tools to interact with the App

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the expense data you enter.

5. Important Disclaimers

Kashiko is NOT a financial advisor, accountant, tax preparer, bank, investment platform, or licensed financial service of any kind. The App is a personal record-keeping tool.

• Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice
• Your use of Kashiko does not create any fiduciary or professional-client relationship
• For financial, tax, or legal decisions, consult a qualified professional
• Data accuracy is your responsibility. We do not verify or audit your expense entries

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kashiko shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid through the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

7. Your Data and Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the App at any time. When you delete your account:

• Your account is deactivated immediately
• All associated data (profile, transactions, session data) is permanently purged within 30 days
• This action cannot be undone — your data cannot be recovered

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your Apple ID settings before or after deleting your account.

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Kashiko app, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

The expense data you enter remains yours. We claim no ownership over your data.

9. Termination

You may stop using Kashiko and delete your account at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine. If you are an EU consumer, you retain the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Ukraine, without prejudice to your right as an EU consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the version number and notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
